Mark Rohrbach is a seasoned Geotechnical Engineer with over 25 years of experience in the field. His deep expertise includes soil testing, geotechnical risk assessment, and providing innovative solutions to complex ground-related challenges.

Jacob is an experienced and results-driven Project Manager with five years of experience. He is responsible for managing most of RAM GeoServices’ non-destructive testing and, using AutoCAD, drafting the majority of our company’s construction drawings. Known for his attention to detail, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities, Jacob ensures that projects are completed on time and within scope, meeting both technical and safety standards. Jacob specializes in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), playing a critical role in ensuring the safety of concrete foundations for bridges, mid-rise buildings, and high-rise buildings. With extensive experience in CSL (Crosshole Sonic Logging) and PIT (Pile Integrity Testing) technologies, Jacob uses advanced equipment to transmit sound waves through concrete to identify hidden defects that could affect a structure’s safety and durability. His determination and his focus on excellence make him a crucial asset to our team.

Sydney Colbern is an enthusiastic and dedicated Geotechnical Engineer with a strong foundation in soil mechanics, foundation design, and structural wall design. Her hands-on experience in fieldwork and lab testing ensures that she can effectively assess soil conditions and design appropriate solutions. She works on various projects, including site assessments, slope stability analyses, wall designs, and ground improvement. Sydney is committed to applying technical expertise and analytical skills to deliver safe and efficient geotechnical and geostructural solutions. She has a solid understanding of geotechnical software (Slide2, MathCAD, MSEW+, MathCAD, Shoring Suite, Bluebeam, Plaxis, AutoCAD, and more), as well as a firm grasp of industry standards and best practices.
Sydney holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Washington and is a licensed EIT. As an EIT, Sydney is working under the mentorship of senior engineers to gain the necessary experience for professional licensure. She is proactive in staying current with industry advancements and pursuing continuous professional development. Tyler Hansen is a licensed Professional Engineer with more than a decade of experience in geotechnical engineering, construction materials, and project management. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering in 2015 and a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering with a geotechnical emphasis in 2016. Tyler holds several industry certifications, including NRMCA Inspecting Engineer, American Concrete Institute (ACI) Certified Field Technician-Grade I, and Nuclear Gauge Operator certification through the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (USNRC). Tyler is committed to ongoing professional development and has completed more than 60 hours of technical education through World of Concrete seminars between 2017 and 2025. Throughout his career, Tyler has contributed to a wide range of projects involving geotechnical evaluations, construction materials testing, and field observation, ensuring that engineering work meets applicable industry standards and project specifications.

Ryan is a licensed Professional Engineer in Nevada with over eight years of experience in geotechnical engineering and geology. He has managed and delivered a wide range of projects, including public infrastructure, commercial developments, and environmental remediation efforts across the western United States.
Ryan leads geotechnical investigations from proposal through construction support, providing design recommendations for foundations, retaining structures, slope stability, and seismic considerations. His expertise includes subsurface exploration, advanced geotechnical analyses, and technical reporting. He also mentors junior staff and collaborates closely with clients, agencies, and design teams to ensure project success.
