In response to mandated repairs of the Puyallup High School Pool’s deteriorating drainage systems, RAM GeoServices collaborated with Designed Groundwater Services (DGS) to engineer a dewatering solution. We developed calculations and recommendations for dewatering-well quantity and placement to safely lower groundwater by 10 feet without compromising the structural integrity of the surrounding sensitive brick architecture. Our contributions enabled the Puyallup School District to implement a safe and cost-effective dewatering system, ensuring the facility’s longevity and continued service to the community.
